Yesterday, i was clearing out my stacks and stacks of files and envelopes. and then i saw that stack of papers that says, yes i've been admitted into University. I saw that envelope of freshman orientation package that has colourful booklets of photos with people and activities from school. Then there's the other pile of stuff from SMU, the forms, the acceptance package. It all feels so far away and yet at the same time, so fresh in my mind. That exhilaration when i first got the acceptance papers. The thrill, the hope and that drive. It s just 2 years ago. Just Fancy that! How time flies. Before i know it, i ll be graduating soon.

It all feels very nostalgic to me now. How nice to get excited about things! Do you still get excited about things around you? Do you? Or have you seen it all and felt it all that nothing reali excites you animore?

Its nice having things to look forward to, as simple as they may be.

Tonight. A night to remember man! Worked hard *i hope, hehe* , played hard, under the nose of our supervisors soome more , ate a lot!!!! AND LAUGHED a lot!! I think im starting to develop wrinkles from tonight's laughing...

It's soo funny can.. i dun even know when to start and what to say.. the whole night is a huge laughing affair to me.. OH. not forgetting EATING affair.. Its soooo good, its too good to be true man... MAybe we ll be made to work like cows and horses after tonight...! hahaha!! *crossing my fingers*

Had 2 bowls of shark's fin, 2 abalones, 2 of this, 2 of that.. its a whole freakin 10 course meal! My gosh.. and as if that was not good enough, i got transportation back home!! and it was soo funny!! i cannot say how funny it is BUT it s funny enough to make me laugh till im tearing enough to ruin my mascara! The conversation in the car.. *and the mention of the car alone is enough to send me into fits of laughter man* Oh and as i was saying, the conversation in the car with a particular mr. Ng and his boss is going to stay in my head for a long looong time man... and yeay! gt a chance to talk to his BOSS... i mean, his boss is one cool gal man! Sooo gung ho! Im in awe!! She is just soo bubbly and spirited and such an interesting person to talk to!! *ermmm dun worry k, im a normal female, hahaha*

Oh! and we met ppl working there that are our NTU seniors! quite cool, the whole table machiam like ntu bus. alumni like that. Oh well.. tonight, had a super good time with all the laughs and credit of course goes to my ever so lovable friends at work.. *hehehe* i mean without them then who do i laugh at?!?! *oOOpss* hahahh.. no la.. they are the catalyst to my laughter man BUT we laugh together k, not i laugh at THEM... *grinz*

Whoever said life was smooth sailing... Just when u thought all was rosy and fine, something comes up and blocks your way.

Not a very big boulder. Maybe just a pebble. But it makes you troubled enough. This feeling of not wanting to talk yet wanting to share it. And yet.. i cant. because im a silly stubborn gal.

I know it ll come and go in the end. Just like all the other stuff. Sometimes, it happens and pushes you to strive for something more and yet cant help but feel troubled.

Went down to Tampines CC to take a look at the performing group! So happening! So glad it all turned out fine! very exciting and inspiring. Completed everyting in an hour's time. The wonder of being able to take the cab. Piano lesson today roxs. Got three new scores=three more new songs! yeay...

On the downside quite pissed off by some ppl during lunch today. Super no manners. Poor them :p Next stop... Golden shoe. Heard there's good food in the vincinity! hehe

Today was tiring. There were so many mails to reply to, so many calls to make, so many sponsorships to see to, so much reading to do and so much to think about. To top it off, gt caught in the rain too.. Lunch company was great. Had a meetin with the third party agency. Quite an eye-opener they were very pro... so much jargon. and so pro. wow.

Today was a whirlwind Monday with ppl coming back from training. First thing in the morning i was whisked into the meeting room with lots of arrows coming my way... stresssssss. Highlights were aplenty. Some so hilarious im even a tad embarrassed to say. *blushes*

1. It's like MAGIC! when i last left the office the table was bare and empty.. now there's a com there! Just for me! That's the good thing. The baaad thing however is i think the com has been in some warehouse for ages coz it was covered with dust dust dust and there was a small black hopping spider with white stripes hopping all over my keyboard. Spent 15 minutes trying to capture it...finally wrapped it in tissue and into the dustbin it went!

2. HIghlight no. 2. My outlook kept malfunctioning and i record breaking called IT asia office for 4 times! -hah! I tell u its damn cool. U just state your work station ID and then the guys over at the other office can ACCESS into your account and then u just sit back and watch them control the mouse and stuff... wahahaha. Weeell the good thing is everytime u call, a different person ans your callsss... phew.. haha

3. Soupy Snax! gives u great relief from the work stress man..stress.take a sip.stress.take a sip. (u get the idea) ermmm there's the CORNY CORN.. hahaha and MUNCHY MUSHROOM. CHICKEN NOODLE TWIST and HOT AND SOUR... personal fav: CORNY CORN! and the best thing, its up for grabs in the pantry! heheheh

4. HIhgtlight no.4. Finally finally my feet starts to love the heels and the heels start to love it.. coz finally im rid of all those plasters! yeay!!!

5. I cant believe it. I dun even know how to use the copying machine coz we dun need to photocopy anithing... can u imagine ur juniors saying.. eee PA ah sure ask u do photocopying one lor.. then u go.oh actually no la. i was there 2 months and i haven even been near the copying machine.. -haha-

6. OOOOoook and THIS i tell u THIS is the total ultimate! Was asked to make an urgent call to Malaysia and well this is the first time im making a call to malaysia sooo i dialled all the appropriate numbers and then wait for a ringing tone that goes, "brrring, brrring. brrring, brrring." BUTnooooo what i kept getting was " tuuu,tuuu.tuuu,tuuu." I thought to myself, darn always engaged. so i told my in charge, ermmm duno why always cannot get thru then fortunately she SMILED at me and said. "issit, let's see." then she came over and dialled. after a while she held the reciever to me and said, there gt ring tone what . and guess what i heard? I heard a "tuuu, tuuuuuuuu. tuuu,tuuu...!!!!" I almost choked man! My in charge was laughing and laughing can... soo freakin paiseh. THEN the best thing was the girl on the other end after talkin to her a while she said, oh btw, did u happen to call me on my mobile coz duno why just now it kept ringing one time then cut off then ring again then cut off. I said, ohh issit.. ermm nope i din! wonder what happened! *grinzzz* Laughing like siao man everyone.... actually it sjust me and my sup la....

7. Another thing. I wasoff on Friday and i became semi-famous in the office. wahahha.. whyyyy let me tell u.. well it goes like that there are a few ADELINE in the office AND there's an ADELINE TAN as welllll.. AND... well apparently this performming group was looking for me coz i was liasing with them AND coz they din specify which adeline from WHICH department the call gt tranferred to sooo many departments until it reached the sales manager's MOBILE!! He said he was in a meeting then the person on the other line said, eh so the Japanese drums how? wahhaha he said he damn blur then .. duno whats gg on...and today he saw me.. then he said.. ohh so u are THE adeline tan.... o well....


DAmn exciting day.

Packing my room now. Its a wonder what i can uncover. I thought about the coming semester. Anticipation and trepidation. Then i thought about me.

hmmmm..... nowadays i view cleaning and packing my room as a somewhat theraputic activity. It makes the body active, calms the heart and sharpens the mind.. its an accquired activity seriously. I discovered the bottled of scented candle that my SP(secret pal) gave me during FOC. The street fighter jigsaw puzzle that i so painstaking put together during secondary school. That pile of magazines with the korean hunks. That glass pendent i had so loved then. Those seaseme street beanies all in a seiyu paper bag and that hello kitty in the space bubble. I found them all. And then i remembered somemore.

I was looking at my model Honda sports car when typing this and it crossed my mind that what you like and what you want maybe 2 very different things. I like that sports car. I want that sports car? I duno.

Aniway im listening to Maksim the piano player now. very refreshing. its a wonder what you can stumble upon sometimes. I thought i've heard it all. and then out from my media window player suddenly comes the adrenaline filled piano notes.

I remembered thinking last week when viewing the telecast of the funeral process of Singapore’s former President Wee Kim Wee that he gives the phrase " the people's people" a whole new meaning. It makes one feel that at the end of the day, its how many people's lives have you touched and made a difference in.

My best friend is coming back in June. Sometimes i wonder at how things are able to change in a flash. With some ppl, you can not meet them for a year or 2 and then meet up and feel like you all just met up yesterday while some are all awkwardness and ice . Maybe the camadarie then was all because of the neccessity of the situation . How sad for both you and me. It s almost like you dont know me and i dont know you animore. But she's not like that. and then there are others.

MOrning today was like no other. Took the train from jurong east to Raffles place MRT as stated on the schedule... the crowd was simplY crazzzy. THere was absoultely, simply no space at all! And i was so sleepy on the train i had to clal elvina to talk to her so that i do not embarass myself by sleep standing and then collasping to the ground.....

Upon reachin Raffles place, i was whamed! in the face by the sheer number of exits ever possible from Raffles.. feel like a "sua ku" then man... oh haha and one glance around, i could swear that i knew which groups were the PA students man.. they alll had on such earnest looks... not tt its a bad thing.. as for me, i made my way to the product distribution point... THEN i decided to call the promoters who were already there and guess whta! tadah! they are at CITY HALL... not raffles place.. someone gave me wrong info... darn! and so off i went to CITY HALL....

Swarming with ppl. simply swarming. where do they all come from man?! And everyone wants free samples. There were those that came with plastic bags and scared the hell out of me man... i mean .. how can?! so paiseh...

Had brunch then went on to raffles place this time.. outside caltex house and i met them! i met them! who?! u ask. Dear andy and miwa!!! This was highlight no. 1 of the day man.. but i was sweating under the hot sun and in other words damn unglam la.. haha

Well today has its ups and downs. A precious lesson learnt in humility. a lesson learnt in communicating with people and learning how to establish common grounds. Even if they are taller than u, bigger than you, older than u and more attitude than you are!

Ran after the bus today after work. in heels. .. the uncle play us out .. he waited till we girls almost reached the bus then he drove off. Ive gt 10 toes and 4 of them are covered in watson's plasters compliments of daniel and yishan. And today i keep shouting out yishan's name. hah keep callin this other girl yishan... yishan (the real one) was quite tickled about that. work was fine as usual. tried another flavor of tea today. This one was reali not bad...had some peanut butter too...

Going to raffles place and shenton way tml for sampling road show. Hope to see some ntu market ppl there. haha super hungry now. Only had a miserable curry puff for dinner : ( Walk so much eat so little. i need my energy! Im itching to go to borders and hide myself in a corner with a book and my "foreva love". self-recuperation

Hve you ever wanted someting but not been able to get it? But somethings are just not meant to be yours. then you say why not? then it tells u. becoz. period. becoz what!?!! you ask. just becoz.

NOt fair!! you whine.. but nothing is fair. its yours , its yours, its not,its not. Its not mine, but that doesnt mean its not your fault. becoz. i told u to stay away! i said go away! the gates were aplenty. then u had to try so hard to climb in and walked all around! Then, i had just cleaned the floor! Now your foot prints are left all over! and i cant scrub it out... all your fault...told you not to come already. seee. now i cant scrub anything out. .... cant cant cant.....

Second day of work felt like first day. except there was more excitement walking ard with your whole platoon of ntu gang. heheeh.... Did super basic marketing stuff... no kick yet.. the action will sink in when my 2 supervisors come back!! oh pls come back quick!!!

Lunch was yet again a simple 2 bucks affair but all the more enjoyable with the NTU gang once again.. felt like i was in school. PPl i know all there!Oooo and there was plenty of excitment about ice-cream, shampoos and food and beverages! Forsee that if i walk to work everyday from the MRT station and then keep having $2 lunch, im gg to be one rich slim girl at the end of PA man... wahhaahha..

Missed the 530 pm transport yet again. strive to catch it one day. Overall, a nice day. I want more action more style and more more more! Give it to me!! yea and to the rest, keep an open mind AND open heart..

I woke up to the singing alarm of 2 handphones, one after another and the smell of rain. RAIN. it finally rained. But i had to wake up. Tuition assignments all packed today. Why? Coz they having exams too. suxxs man. feel like im having exams too.

Quite happy about tomorrow. Finally my friends gg to be there and i wont be walking ard with ppl questioning where's my whole platoon of ntu gang. i replied i was there to check out the battle ground... heheh. Tml im taking the public transport to work. dont ask me why. O gosh. will there be lots of shoving and squeezing and pushing?! and standing?! all in my heels? dreading it. i dun even take 179 to school. ok now i sound like such a spoilt brat. Cant a girl whine a bit sometimes.......

Im gg to rise up to the occassion and be P.O.S.I.T.I.V.E.
After all, i have to wake up at 5am on tuesday to be go to TAMPINESS.. well done me.

Finally...finally got down to changing the template!! Fussy picky me... after scanning through ALL the webskins for the whole freakin day. I finally decided that i like this!! I make things happen!! haha.. still lack the tag board. gt all the scripting done already but duno why cannot align it properly. anione pro at this, tell me ya . haha and now im quite happy with my webdesign class... why? coz im rearranging all the scripts and htmls to suit me!!! *grinz*
